1.Issue of birth certificate-
1.Filled application form
2 recent passport photographs showing full frontal view of the person's head and shoulders having a white or light-colored background. No glare if wearing glasses. One photo to be pasted on the first page of the form in the box provided for the purpose and the other photo attached/stapled with the form.
3.Self attested copy of valid Indian Passport (first and last two pages)
4.Self attested copy of valid German visa/ residence permit
5.Copy of City Registration (Meldebescheinigung )
6.Request letter for issue of birth certificate
7.The issuance of the certificate is subject to verification of the Documents/credentials submitted by the applicant

(EC is issued in the case loss of passport during travel. EC is valid only for single return journey to India )

9.Death Certificate
(No Objection Certificate for transporting dead body to India)
Certificates are issued by the Embassy and the consulates to enable transport of a dead body to India. Original documents should be submitted along with the photocopies.
1.International death certificate (Sterb Urkunde)
2.Doctor's certificate. (Todesbescheinigung)
3.Embalming certificate (Einbalsamierung)
4.Certificate from the undertaker confirming that the packing of body is in accordance with international regulations.
5.Clearance of German authorities for release of mortal remains. (Leichenpass)
6.Letter pertaining to shipment of mortal remains.
7.Original Indian Passport of the deceased
8.If required any other extra document can be requested by the consulate
10.No Objection Certificate to Carry Ashes to India
1.Ashes/human remains certificates
2.The Embassy issues a certificate to enable transport of human Ashes to India.
3.Copy of death certificate of the deceased.
4.Copy of cremation certificate
5.Copy of certificate from the undertaker confirming that the urn contains ashes of the deceased person.
6.Passport copy of person, who is carrying the ashes to India
